The Black Lizard...

Or so my kids have dubbed it.

The name came about because on the trip home from North Carolina, I stopped just across the SC line to get gas.. and there was a big lizard sitting on the dash, just along for the ride. Not even sure what color he was, it was dark... Never saw him again, maybe he got out in Atlanta or something, i don't know.

I need to get busy and finish this project which has gone on for a year now, but I keep making changes to the plan in mid-stream. Rule #1 of any project....Make a plan, and stick with it. Now, if I could just follow my own advice..

Spent way too musch time on the frame, but that's ok. It's an original '32, was tweaked really bad when we started. Currently has a nailhead and a t-5 mocked up, but I think that's going to change. X-member is a '38 Ford p\u, which was reversed. Unboxed in the area behind the crossmember, and I wanted the sides of the crossmember to "flow" into the boxing plates. Now, if I just had drilled holes int eh boxing plates before welding them in... Rear crossmember is a '38 ford truck that has been flattened... too much. I think I'm going to have to put some downward arch back into it to get the stance i want. No, it won't have radials.. they are just rollers.
